Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

MyPostalPay respects your privacy. Our calculators run entirely in your browser, and we use minimal third-party services to run the site. This policy explains what data is collected, by whom, and how it’s used.

Calculator Data Stays on Your Device

We do not collect or store your calculator inputs on any server. MyPostalPay’s calculators are client-side — all pay, FERS, TSP, and leave calculations happen in your browser. Any profile or settings you save using the Save feature are stored only in your browser’s localStorage and never leave your device.

What Stays on Your Device

This data is stored in your browser’s localStorage. It is not transmitted to any server, database, or third party. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will remove this data.

Analytics & Cookies

MyPostalPay uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, your approximate location (country/region level), the type of device you use, and how you arrived at the site (for example, from a Google search or a link on Reddit). This data is collected and processed by Google using cookies and similar technologies.

Google Analytics does not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifying information from this site. Your IP address is anonymized. You can opt out of Google Analytics on any website by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See Google’s privacy policy for more details on how Google handles this data.

Advertising

MyPostalPay may display ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are active, Google AdSense uses cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your interests.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized ads at aboutads.info. For more information on how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites that use our services.

Feedback Submissions

If you submit feedback through our feedback form, the information you provide (craft, how you found the site, category, details, and optional email address) is sent to Formspree, a third-party form processing service, along with the page you submitted from and a timestamp. Calculator inputs are not included. See Formspree’s privacy policy for how they handle form submissions.

Optional Support Payments

If you choose to support MyPostalPay, you leave this site and complete the payment through Cash App. MyPostalPay does not collect or store your card number, bank information, Cash App credentials, or other payment details. Cash App processes the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. MyPostalPay may record an anonymous analytics event when a support link is clicked, but that event does not include the payment amount or your Cash App identity.

Mutual Exchange Listings and Email List

MyPostalPay is building an email alert system. If you choose to join the update list, your email address is stored in Cloudflare D1 so it is available when email delivery launches. Email delivery is not currently live, and joining the list does not trigger automated messages today. We do not sell subscriber addresses.

If you choose to post a mutual exchange, the information you submit for the public listing — such as craft, employee status, current city/state or installation name, desired destination, description, and the public contact handle or link you choose — is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and displayed publicly on MyPostalPay. Do not include a phone number, personal email address, home address, employee ID, EIN, route details, or other sensitive information in a public listing.

Each exchange listing is issued a recovery key. MyPostalPay stores only a one-way hash of that key; keep your copy if you want to renew or close the listing later. Reports about exchange listings are also stored so we can review abuse or inappropriate content.

An active listing is public for up to 90 days unless it is renewed, closed, hidden, or permanently deleted sooner. After a listing expires, is closed, or is hidden, its inactive database record and related reports may be retained for up to 90 additional days for recovery and moderation, then are automatically deleted. An administrator may permanently delete a listing and its reports sooner.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used on exchange submissions, reports, and email-list signups to reduce automated abuse. Turnstile may process technical information such as the visitor’s IP address, browser characteristics, and challenge results under Cloudflare’s privacy practices.

Third-Party Services

Other websites linked from MyPostalPay operate under their own privacy policies. MyPostalPay does not receive payment credentials from Cash App.

Offline Functionality

The service worker can make previously cached pages and calculator files available when you are offline, but offline coverage is not guaranteed for every page. Mutual exchanges, subscriptions, feedback, analytics, advertising, and fresh news require a network connection. No data is transmitted while the device is offline. Cached site files can be removed by uninstalling the PWA or clearing browser data.

Children’s Privacy

MyPostalPay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Your Rights

You have the right to know what data is collected about you, to request deletion of that data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. For information you submit directly to MyPostalPay, such as an email subscription or a mutual exchange listing, you may request deletion through our contact page. Separate opt-out controls apply to Google Analytics and Google AdSense.

Changes to This Policy

If we add new data collection, change providers, or make any significant update to our privacy practices, this policy will be revised and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change. We encourage you to check this page periodically.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

MyPostalPay does not sell or share personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are a California resident and have questions about your rights under the CCPA, use the contact method below.
